Shift: Double day shift: 6:00am to 1:30pm and 1:30pm to 9pmThe Company: Leading provider of high-quality print solutions which include litho, digital & large format printing. The Role: • As a Print Finishing Operator, you will ensure the safe, smooth and efficient running of the Finishing Machines• Operating various print finishing equipment including guillotines, folders and stitchers• To understand every job and follow lists to ensure all work completed• To finish every job within allocated time scales and to a high quality, ensuring quality file copies separated and labelled on every job• Implement maintenance tasks to plan• Be responsible for general cleanliness of the finishing department as a part of the daily routine• Liaise with the Finishing Supervisor to ensure work is completed as required• Reduce machine down time for make-readies and breakdowns• Reduction of running times, while still ensuring quality, as measured against quoted targets• Reduction of waste in respect of reprints as monitored by Reprint AnalysisRequirements: • Proven experience as a Print Finishing Operator • Strong interpersonal skills• Manual Handling from lifting/stacking of paper in accordance with HSE guidelines• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities• To be well presented for work and conduct yourself in a professional and responsible manner at all times• Fulfil the Company’s requirements with regard to the Company’s Management Information Systems at all times• Follow all administrative procedures adopted by the Company at all timesRequired skills
