Job Description

Were supporting our clients as they adapt to a new world in the wake of COVID-19. Were now recruiting for roles which will help our clients to deliver vital services and to resume business wherever possible.Help strengthen our Implementation Team as an Implementation Analyst (level 3) in Sheffield. Able to work from home currently.We are now looking for a Implementation Analyst to join our team to support the execution of client implementation projects to a high standard within a controlled project environment.What youll be doing:

  • Implementing the product(s)/service(s) on our technology platform(s)
  • Delivering calculation automation
  • Troubleshooting and resolving client queries and issues
  • Supporting Project Managers and Implementation Consultants through the efficient delivery of project tasks
  • Mentoring junior members of the team
  • Undertaking system configuration, data analysis, and testing
  • Uploading and downloading system data
  • Supporting the technical development of our technology platforms through participation in new and/or enhanced developments
  • Facilitating internal and external system training when required
  • What were looking for:
  • Experience in implementation and system testing/user acceptance testing
  • UK Pension background: Detailed understanding and ability to explain the difference between DB, DC, CARE and Annuities, how they are administered and a full understanding of system & process implications
  • Is able to explain: - pension member records and their set up- the relationships between members, Trustees, schemes, actuaries, funds and investments- different types of Pension Schemes- different types of member status and applicable calculations for eachDescribe the regulatory bodies and their roles in this sectorDemonstrate knowledge of system set up and use of parameters
  • Able to demonstrate capability and knowledge of pension/employee benefit technology platforms
  • Able to draft and check test plan to detail all expected results and system updates
  • Demonstrate ability to work with analysts, developers and the client
  • Able to analyse system debugs and carry out root cause analysis to raise clear and sufficient defects and triage those raised
  • Strong MS Excel skills, able to draft an automated excel calculator with basic formula; ability to use filters, sorting, pivot tables (rows, columns, grouping, filters and totalling), lookups, control totals, IF and nested IF statements and formatting of cells to specific guidelines
  • Can parse and import data/text files and use data validation on excel
  • Can create and run macros on excel
  • Good MS Access
  • Experience of clearly communicating technical/system information to audiences with technical and non-technical backgrounds
