Job Description

The Company Overview:Butler rose are partnered with one of the largest, global, and full-service law firm based in Sheffield City Centre. As a Payroll Administrator,you will be responsible for all aspects of payroll and benefits for the firms UK employees. You will also facilitate the running of payments and the administration of benefits. There could be openings available for you outside of the UK as they have businessinterests in several countries globally.My client now has a requirement for a Payroll Administrator. This is a temporary 4-month FTC and after the induction period is complete, a hybrid work model is available.Your new role as a Payroll Administrator:Your duties will include:To provide accurate, efficient, and timely processing of the group payrolls through a period of change whilst the company embeds new systems, processes, and procedures. Create & maintain employee records, calculation of salaries & applicable deductions ensuring100% accuracy in all recordsBack up support on End-to-end processing of monthly partner payroll & supplementary runsBack up support on Reconciliation of Month end payments & transfer of payment to third party suppliersWorking with GSC to query any anomaliesSupport both team and management with updating of the benefit systems and payroll databases with any relevant changesAssisting in gathering & providing data for statutory auditDetecting & communicating anomalies & dealing with queries from employees regarding payroll related mattersAct as a point of contact for any enquiries offering excellence in customer service to both our internal and external customersAssist in payments for Loan Schemes for submissionIssue P11d to all colleaguesAd-hoc projectsAssist in system configurationThe Experience & Qualifications Required: The successful Candidate shall be/have:CIPP Degree & Membership would be an advantageProven payroll experience & payroll project implementation is essentialAn understanding of UK PensionEducation to A Level standard or equivalentAttention to detail and accuracyPrevious experience reconciling accounts during month endCan exercise discretion when dealing with confidential mattersStrong interest in Payroll & willingness to grow and develop with teamStrong organisational skills & multi-tasking abilitiesAbility to work to tight deadlinesTeam player & show a willingness to learnExcel skills- Vlookups and Pivot tablesYour Reward & The Package On Offer:As a Payroll Administrator you shall receive:A salary of up to £28,000 depending on experienceHolidaysPensionLife insuranceDiscounts and perksCycle to work schemeInterested Apply or get in touch on (M): or (T): to speak to Sonia Sidje to discuss the role further!Who Are Butler RoseButler Rose specialises in the recruitment of accountancy and finance professionals, from transactional and part-qualified appointments through to Group FDs.With offices in Manchester, Preston, Leeds, Birmingham, Exeter, London, Milton Keynes and Southampton, we work with a range of businesses across the UK from SMEs and local accountancy firms to large Plcs and the Big 4, as well as many public sector and not-for-profitorganisations.
