Job Description

Simpson Associates is a Data Analytics Consultancy and Data Managed Services Provider. We are a Microsoft Gold Partner and hold the Microsoft Advanced Specialisation in Data Analytics, a Gold IBM Partner and an Informatica Partner. As part of our ambitiousgrowth plans, we are extending our sales team and require a sales administrator to assist the Business Development Managers throughout the sales and close cycles.Simpson Associates is a Data Analytics Consultancy and Data Managed Services Provider. We are a Microsoft Gold Partner with a Microsoft Advanced Specialization in Data Analytics, a Gold IBM Partner and an Informatica Partner.As part of our ambitious growth plans, we are looking for self-motivated, target driven Outbound Sales Advisor to join our talented Sales team.The successful applicant will have a proven track record in selling software, applications, solutions and professional services to both SME and Enterprise sized businesses.The main purpose of the role is to generate sales opportunities for the wider sales team, through cold calling organisations from a wide variety of sectors.Duties & Responsibilities

  • Call cold data provided, finding the correct and relevant contact to speak to, to introduce Simpson Associates and our services, and asking key information questions
  • Work across all sectors to help identify and generate sales opportunities
  • Work closely with the Sales and Marketing Team to develop call out plans to follow in line with the overall Marketing Plan, following up on the planned campaigns, events and other activities
  • Some specific call out campaigns may include:
  • Promoting Simpsons portfolio of solutions & services
  • Following up on a specific campaign to a relevant sector
  • Generating attendees to Simpson led events
  • Promoting our attendance at specific exhibitions & conferences
  • Following up on leads generated at events & exhibitions
  • Assist in developing call scripts to support the call out plans
  • Targeted on calls per day
  • Targeted to generate meetings per month for the Business Development Team
  • 4 out of 5 days per week will be dedicated to calling activities, 1 day dedicated to admin
  • Ensuring follow up calls/tasks are scheduled and actioned
  • Support with ideas for Marketing Campaigns
  • Opportunity from time to time to attend events and exhibitions as a Simpsons representative
  • Take ownership and accountability of set targets and actively seek out ideas and opportunities to increase business
  • Providing regular progress on new opportunities uncovered and working with the Business Development team to develop a system to ensure all required information is captured and communicated.
  • Be aware of and adhere to the requirements of the companys business management system, including quality and information security management.
  • Maintain an understanding of Simpson Associates strategic direction
  • Maintain an awareness of Simpson Associates current and future products and services, attending training sessions as relevant
  • Maintain an understanding of competitive activity relevant to the focus markets
  • Qualify leads accurately and prioritise opportunities and time spent on them
  • Make use of the Sales and Marketing team skills to assist in progressing relationships and opportunities.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
  • Excellent communication skills using telephone, email, etc.
  • Self-motivated and results oriented
  • A proactive and self-starting approach to managing your responsibilities
  • Excellent, clear and concise, written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Work with appropriate people to co-ordinate marketing activities in order to generate leads
  • Produce an accurate weekly forecast and pipeline
  • Efficient and effective use of Dynamics CRM / Hubspot in accordance with SAISL procedures
  • Proficient in MS Office
