Job Description

Operations Team Manager- Hybrid Working Our large retailing client based in Sheffield are looking for an Operations team Manager to join their business. In this role you will managing a team of 7 credit Advisors as well as providing support to offshore colleagues.This role is an a highly regulatory environment, so it is essential candidates come from a FCA background and have recent knowledge of:

  • Order referrals: arrears, and exceeding credit limits
  • Insolvency and bankruptcy
  • Data protection
  • Persistent debt
The role will involve:
  • Providing support and coaching to members of your team.
  • Monitor the teams performance and productivity.
  • Maintain awareness of regulatory requirements including but not exclusive to FCA, OFCOM, DPA, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable UK and local regulations, Company Policies and FCA Conduct Rules
  • Comply and demonstrate company values.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Experience of working in an FCA Regulated environment.
  • At least 2 years experience managing a team
  • Ability to effectively coach and develop a team of people to improve performance
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to use own judgement to make decisions
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Experience of managing an agile working team (home and office based)
