Operations ManagerProductionSheffield£38,000 to £43,000The Role:The role of the Operations Manager is to plan, direct and oversee the operation of the production site. The ideal candidate will be responsible for meeting the operational goals of the department across four key operational areas.Key DutiesTo be responsible for the day to day running of the production unit and the logistical operation To monitor and control the use of equipment To assume prime site responsibility for all Health and Safety Policy issuesProactively lead staff Chair associated employee forumsEnsures conformance to ISO goals and objectives and support ISO requirements.To effectively plan and schedule all production to the agreed specification to meet customer requirements. To agree appropriate financial parameters and budgetsRequired ExperienceLeadership experience and the ability to make things happen Operational and Production management backgroundExperience coaching and developing others Computer Skills- Must be proficient with all Microsoft Office applications, previous experience using Oracle preferred.Business Acumenexperience with and ability to understand company financials, department cost structures, budgets, and operating costs.Desired SkillsMember of the Institute of Decontamination Sciences (IDSc).Substantial previous experience of working in a production environment including demonstrable experience of working at management level.
