Elevation Engineering and Manufacturing are partnered exclusively with a world leading specialist engineering business supplying direct into highly regulated industries based in Sheffield who are looking to recruit an Operations Manager. This is a newly created role due to the continued success of the business and the recent change in business structure.In this role, the Operations Manager will be responsible for all Production, H&S, Quality, Operations & KPIs within the company.The Operations Manager will:- Have responsibility for Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery and People (SQCDP)- Drive continuous improvement throughout the business, define the highest standards required- Drive production within the business analysing ways to improve OTIF- Performance manage your teams, ensuring that accountability and training are defined and understood. Ensuring development opportunities are identified with HR Dept- Ensure that effective communication strategies are implemented and maintained throughout the business including appropriate senior-level meetings and employee relations discussions- Any other adhoc duties as requiredI would be keen to speak with professionals who possess the following;- Degree qualified or qualification within engineering (HNC or HND)- Forward innovative thinking with the ability to think outside the box- Minimum of 5 years experience within manufacturing & management- Good problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse data- Ability to deal with multiple schedules & demands- Prior knowledge of working with new technology & products- People management experience with the ability to influence othersElevation Engineering & Manufacturing is a specialist division of Elevation Recruitment Group, focusing on manufacturing management positions in Yorkshire and the surrounding regions.
