Job Description OverviewDue to retirement an opportunity has arisen at W Wright Electrical & Mechanical for a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team at our Sheffield office. As an Office Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuringthe smooth operation of our office. The ideal candidate will have excellent administrative and organizational skills, as well as proficiency in various office software applications.W Wright Electrical & Mechanical is a long established medium sized building services contractor undertaking works for clients in the health, industrial, commercial and leisure sectors.ResponsibilitiesPerform general administrative duties such as answering phone calls, managing emails, and handling correspondenceMaintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessaryAssist with data entry tasks and maintain accurate recordsAssist with document preparation, formatting, and editingProvide support to other team members as neededChecking weekly timesheets and inputting into job costing software.Generating staff payroll information for all employees, accurately inputting it into Sage.Administering Company and Employee pension obligations.Processing payment of employee benefits, including health schemes, pension contributions, etc., ensuring accurate administration within Sage accordingly.Checking and resolving payroll queries.Managing PPE for staff and operativesAdministering records of staff holidays, illness and absenceQualificationsProven experience in an administrative roleStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectivelyProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracyFamiliarity with Sage accounting software is essentialStrong verbal and written communication skillsExceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to handle confidential information with discretion is essentialProfessional phone etiquette and customer service skillsIf you are a motivated individual with excellent organizational skills and a passion for providing administrative support, we encourage you to apply for the Office Administrator position.
