Job Description

Ocean Import OperatorSheffieldExperience required within Ocean Freight, import operations preferable, if you have other freight forwarding experience please apply.Salary: £18k - £30k+ depending on experienceThe Person:

  • Looking after the day-to-day requirements of our key freight accounts / customers
  • Dynamic individual able to work in a fast-paced freight operations environment.
  • Able to use own initiative
  • Can work to strict deadlines
  • Excellent customer service and good communicator
  • ideally experience in cargowise, sequoia
Key Duties / Skills:
  • All aspect of air freight operations including Customs Clearance
  • Job costings and invoicing of shipments
  • Freight systems experience
  • Freight forwarding problem resolution
  • All other duties of a freight forwarder
