We are recruiting for a permanent Nursery Manager in Sheffield. Are you a qualified Nursery Manager looking for a new challenge Are you an inspirational EYFS leader We are looking for an experienced Nursery Manager to join the team at this fantastic setting.As Nursery Manager you will work closely with a qualified established team to provide care for children aged 6 months to 4 years in a full day care setting across the year. This Sheffield based Nursery Manger role is located in the east of the city centre. The nursery is in a popular residential area, with close links to the M1 and nearby bus and train routes making it easily accessible from surrounding areas.Nursery Manager As a Nursery Manager you will be the first point of call to all families and colleagues in the setting. You will be a warm and welcoming person; someone who is approachable and understanding, with an ability to resolve queries, provide feedback and offer advice, as well as directly line manage your team. You will have an excellent knowledge of the EYFS, be able to review setting policy, and promote good practice and current legislation effectively. You will have a passion for quality and providing the very best for children and their families.The ideal Nursery Manager will hold a high level of childcare qualification, preferably with EYTS or equivalent. You will have a minimum of 3 years experience working in a managerial role in good to outstanding full day care settings. You will be able to manage change effectively with fantastic leadership skills and ambition to grow with the company. Experience in regional leadership or area management is highly desirable. You will have good understanding of IT and experience of nursery management programmes, record keeping and administration. You will understand how to continue to build occupancy, and engage with the local community to promote services.
