Job Description

Are you an individual who is committed to the delivery of compassionate high quality care in the theatre settingWe are currently looking to recruit enthusiastic, self-motivated Operating Department Practitioners (ODP’s) to join our team.At STH we provide 24 hour peri-operative care, covering two sites within a range of specialities including:

  • Obstetrics and Gynaecology
  • General/Vascular/Renal
  • ENT/Head & Neck
  • Neurology
  • Urology
  • Emergencies
  • Ophthalmics
  • Spinal Surgery
  • Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
  • Orthopaedics
  • Cardiothoracic
  • As a major trauma centre and teaching hospital we have strong links with Universities, enabling the sharing and application of contemporary evidence based practice. We want to recruit the staff who have the right strengths, motivators and PROUD values to help us provide continuous quality improvement and deliver the highest standards of care to our patients. We want the best staff to be at the front of our services and want to recruit those with values that are parallel to ours.We offer:
  • Advanced Practice programmes i.e. Surgical First Assistant, Physicians Assistants Anaesthesia and Surgical Practitioners.
