Neighbourhood Services ManagerSalary: £26,344 - £32,199Job Type: Full Time, PermanentLocation: SheffieldBenefits: Competitive pension, 26 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with service, cycle to work scheme, season ticket loans for public transport plus much more.Reporting to the Area Services Manager, the Neighbourhood Services Manager has direct responsibility for the delivery of a high quality housing and neighbourhood management service to customers within the neighbourhood. You will combine working on site visitingcustomers in their homes; work from our modern regional office at Park Hill as well as working from home.You will be responsible for letting homes, supporting customers with their enquiries including tenancy management, anti-social behaviour and tenancy enforcement and rent account management and play your part in helping us to ensure we deliver excellent servicesin thriving neighbourhoods. You will operate in line with our Service Delivery Framework, provide exceptional first point of contact services to customers and advise and coach them to be self-sufficient.About You:For a successful application you will need to be qualified to minimum GCSE grade C or equivalent in English and Maths, you will also hold the relevant professional qualifications or membership of Institute of Customer Service or Chartered Institute of Housing.You will also require a full driving licence and access to a vehicle for use at work.You will have experience of working in the housing sector and in a similar role, with a good working understanding of effective estate and tenancy management experience and experience of delivering a range of related services, adopting a proactive coachingstyle approach to identify issues and attempt to resolve before they escalate.You will have a basic understanding of property condition issues and be committed to maintaining the condition and appearance of properties and neighbourhoods. You will be able to demonstrate knowledge of current issues in housing and the property sector includinga good understanding of welfare benefits and Universal Credit. You will be experienced in data gathering and analysis and be adaptable to use a range of external software systems including housing, rent and case management systems. You will also be familiarwith Microsoft office systems including excel and word.About our company:Great Places Housing Group is not your average housing association.
