Job Description

MRICS Building Repairs SurveyorSheffield Up to £70,000 plus benefits Essential: Must be a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS)Dilapidation Work Pre-acquisition, Expert Witness and Defect Diagnosis Surveys Responsibilities

  • The role will be focused on carrying out expert witness services related to housing disrepair. This requires the surveyor to undertake surveys, write up findings and prepare a report.
  • The Candidate will be required to travel to Sheffield and carry out surveys.
Requirements
  • The Candidate must be an MRICS
  • The Candidate must have proven experience carrying out domestic surveys, with an understanding of housing defect diagnosis.
  • The ideal Candidate will have experience preparing reports in line with Section 11 of the Landlord and Tenants Act & Homes (Fitness for Human Habitation) Act 2018.
  • A full UK driving licence, access to a car and the ability to travel throughout England.
  • Strong IT skills, good competency within Microsoft Word and Excel.
