Location : Chesterfield Special Cylinders Limited , SheffieldReports to: Supervisor (Ultra Large Cylinders)Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 06:30 am to 4:15 Must be flexible to work to shifts and overtime. Holidays: 27 days holiday (inc. Bank Holidays) pro ratad.Contract Type: Permanent Due to continued business success, we are now looking to recruit a time served mechanical fitter. Job Purpose:To play an active role in the assembly of high pressure components to customer assets both on site in Sheffield and at customer sites around the world.To provide general support to the production line where required.To provide engineering insight to teams where required and convey better ways of working where improvements can be seen. To carry out general fabrication inclusive of burning/cutting/welding.Fault finding and repair of operational equipment (high pressure / pneumatic / hydraulic / vacuums / pumps).To be a member of the service team and actively deploy worldwide on an occasional basis.To provide responsibility and guidance over engineering aspects of all jobs. To operate basic lathe turning and milling operations.To support the service team (Integrity Management) through deployment to customer site, potentially worldwide, on an occasional basis.Qualifications: Engineering Apprenticeship and Qualification (NVQ Level 3) NVQ Level 3 Numeracy and Literacy We value diversity and welcome applications from candidates from all backgrounds.
