Job Description

Are you a skilled and motivated mechanical professional with a passion for precision and quality Do you thrive in a dynamic team environment, while also having the ability to work independently If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a MechanicalFitter.Key Mechanical Fitter Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture equipment and assemblies according to provided drawings and specifications, meeting required throughput rates.
  • Adhere to workplace health and safety procedures to maintain a secure work environment.
  • Complete and maintain necessary documentation accurately.
  • Utilize hand and power tools with precision and skill.
  • Verify and sign off on build stage completion on relevant documentation.
  • Perform pipe bending and forming operations.
  • Interpret and apply technical drawings effectively.
  • Conduct quality assurance and testing checks to ensure product integrity.
  • Perform pre-use checks on machinery and report any faults promptly.
  • Participate in necessary training to enhance role proficiency.
  • Analyze data against predefined parameters to assess compliance.
Knowledge and Experience for Mechanical Fitter:
  • NVQ Level 3 in an associated mechanical discipline.
  • Proficiency in gas systems, hydraulics, pipe bending, pneumatics, and fusion welding.
  • Prior experience within a production/manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical assembly skills.
Mechanical Fitter Working Hours:
  • Monday to Friday
  • Rotating shifts
  • 0600-1400
  • 1400-2200
