The Mechanical Design Engineer will define project objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle. You must have at least five yearsexperience as a mechanical design engineer and good working knowledge of electro-mechanical products.Mechanical Design Engineer - Roles and Responsibilities -Principle Mechanical Design Engineer / Engineering Manager / CAD / Mechanical Engineering* Direct and manage design phase from beginning to end. Define project scope and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders* Building and managing complex 3D models and creating 2D manufacturing drawings* Effectively communicate project expectations to team members in a timely and clear fashion* Deliver progress reports, design proposals, documentation and technical presentations* Remotely support commissioning activities through the set-up and debug phases* Accountability for cradle to grave ownership of the designMechanical Design Engineer - Skills and Abilities - / Principle Mechanical Design Engineer / Engineering Manager / CAD / Mechanical Engineering* At least 5 years experience as a mechanical design engineer* Understanding of complex, high precision, electro-mechanical designs (Rotating Machinery experience advantageous)* Proven experience with 3D CAD design software and Microsoft office* Experience of working both independently and in a team oriented collaborative environment* Ability to prioritise, effectively execute tasks and bring projects to successful completion* Strong written, verbal, communication and interpersonal skillsMechanical Design Engineer / Principle Mechanical Design Engineer / Engineering Manager / CAD / Mechanical Engineering / Electro-Mechanical DesignIf this role could appeal, please do apply now!
