Materials Inspector / Goods Inwards Inspector (FLT Required)£20,280 - £22,308 plus overtime paid at premium ratesMonday - Friday 7am-3pm Sheffield Permanent FLT experience required ideallyFree Car Parking, 33 days paid annual, Private Healthcare, Contributory Pension Scheme, Annual Family days, Overtime available. We have a fantastic opportunity for a career driven Materials Inspector / Goods Inwards Inspector, we are looking for an ambitious individual to join our well established and ever developing client based in Sheffield. As a result of this significant growth we are recruiting for an Inspector on a full time permanent basis. As the Materials Inspector / Goods Inwards Inspector you will be working in a medium engineering environment and will be responsible for receiving and inspecting goods arriving at the factory as well as supporting the Stores team during busy periods. Day to day duties will include:* Receive product and ensure all the documentation & certificates are correct for that particular delivery.* Inspection of goods in accordance with the ABP Quality Management System - checking aesthetically and dimensionally using appropriate method i.e. Gauges, micro-meters, Vickers hardness tester* Completion of all relevant documentation including booking the product into stock.* Carry out verification testing of components that have undergone a Sub Contract process to ensure supplier testing consistency.* Carry out goods receipt inspection* Sample Inspection* Testing of components that have undergone a Sub Contract* Driving FLT Counterbalance truck and using overhead crane* Maintain documentation in a tidy orderly manner* Promptly off-load deliveries in a safe manner via FLT or other lifting aids, ensuring delivery paperwork corresponds with the goods being received prior to signing receipt documentsFLT Counterbalance experience is essential, license is preferred however not required. Crane experience is preferred however not required.
