Marketing ExecutiveSheffield, South YorkshireAbout UsWith over 115,000 members in 140 countries, the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) has been at the heart of the mechanical engineering profession since 1847.We strive to improve the world through engineering by developing engineers, promoting engineering, informing opinion and encouraging innovation.We are now seeking a Marketing Executive to join our team in Sheffield and support our pivotal promotional efforts.The RoleAs a Marketing Executive, you will support the development and promotion of the activities of IMechEs three sub-brands: IMechE Argyll Ruane (IAR), IMechE Fife NDT and Sonaspection.Working closely with the Marketing Manager, you will seek to understand customer requirements, implement propositions and develop engaging multi-channel campaigns that appeal to the target audience and meet commercial objectives.You will project manage the production and distribution of promotional materials and copy, as well as creating, proofing and editing engaging copy to support promotional and PR activity across integrated online/offline channels.Additionally, you will:- Assist with the planning, preparation and scheduling of social media posts- Manage, facilitate and implement the production of multi-channel marketing campaigns- Monitor the impact of specific campaigns and tactics- Use web and marketing analytics tools to report on campaign effectiveness and resultsAbout YouTo be considered as a Marketing Executive, you will need:- A marketing degree, or equivalent experience of working in a marketing role- Proven experience of applying digital and traditional marketing tactics to generate leads- Demonstrable experience of creating or managing multi-channel campaigns- Experience of using email marketing and content management systems- Proven experience of creating and scheduling content for email and social media- To be highly creative, with experience of identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate- Good communication skills, with experience of writing print and/or web copy- The ability to work autonomously, flexibly and as part of a team- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills- Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office- Previous marketing experience, preferably working in training, conferences and events or a commercial-led environment, although this is not essentialSolid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools would be beneficial to your application, as would experience of setting up and optimizing SEO and PPC campaigns.Experience of using Adobe software, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign would also be advantageous, as would demonstrable experience of brand application through online and offline channels, although this is not essential.The Benefits- Salary of £24,000 per annum subject to experience- A minimum of 26 days holiday pro rata plus Bank Holidays- Benefits including stakeholder pension scheme, life assurance and private health cover- Continuous training and career development- A range of wellbeing benefits to encourage a healthy work-life balanceIf you are a talented marketing professional with experience with digital and print media and a successful track record of managing multi-channel campaigns, this is the perfect opportunity to join our unique, distinguished organisation and further your career.Joining our dedicated, friendly team, you will discover the chance to test your marketing acumen as you help drive our organisation to new heights of success.We are Investors in People accredited Gold, which reflects our organisations commitment to our people.
