Job Description

Simon Acres Recruitment are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Production Manager to work for a successful business based in South Yorkshire. Paying: £52,000 basic salary.Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am to 5.30pm.Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing automated machinery operations
  • Taking responsibility for the day to day operational performance of the machinery and ensuring that any issues are dealt with in the first instance
  • Planning routine machinery maintenance and fixing immediate issues as and when they arise
  • Striving to reduce wastage and increase productivity across all production lines
  • Maintaining H&S standards and conditions for both employees and the factory
  • Communicating any problems or obstacles to management
  • Monitoring productivity rates, standards and quality control
  • Training and coaching factory operatives
  • Ensuring the manufacturing area is a safe and efficient
Candidate Requirements:
  • Experienced Manufacturing Production Manager ideally within a KBB or furniture setting
  • Experienced within the kitchen or furniture manufacturing industries
  • Must be hands on and willing to lead from the front
  • Flexibility to work longer hours or be available on hand in the case of a machine malfunction
  • Full UK driving Licence
