Elevation Recruitment Group are currently looking for a Qualified/ Part Qualified or Qualified by Experience Accountant to join a leading manufacturing business based in Sheffield. Reporting straight into the Head of Finance, you will be working closely with Project Managers and Commercial teams in order to effectively manage the financials and profitability reporting on contracts for the manufacturing plant.Key duties and responsibilities will include: - Production of Monthly Management Accounts (P&L and Balance Sheet)-Variance Analysis (budget vs Forecast) -Monitoring profitability/ costs of ongoing contracts - Project assessment and working collaboratively with Project Managers - Working in compliance with IFRS15 - Gross margin analysis - Capex proposals - Preparing month-end reporting consolidation pack- Preparation of the accounts for the German office - Producing cash and revenue forecasts (Comparison against actuals)- Driving continuous improvement to develop best practice and efficiencies The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences: - Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA) or Qualified by Experience -Manufacturing sector experience -Contract accounting experience -Good knowledge of fundamental accounting principles - Working knowledge of IFRS15- Good IT/ Excel skills-Strong communication skills Benefits: - - Competitive salary -Company Pension 5% Employee/ 5% Employer contribution - Company bonus (Profit Share) - Dependent on company performance -Death in Service Benefit This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious accountant to join a market leading manufacturing business.
