REED Engineering & Manufacturing are working with a leading Engineering & Manufacturing company with a strong reputation.Manual Vertical Milling MachinistYour role will be to operate various manual milling machines within the Production Facility.Your responsibilities will include: Operation of open Butlker and Elga miling machines to high standard of quality and productivity. Adherence to company Health and Safety Policy. Maintenance of shop floor housekeeping standards. Experience Apprentice trained or equivalent on the job experience training Proven ability to read and interpret complex product drawings including geometrical tolerances and symbols for machining Proven ability to work to tight, accurate tolerances. Understanding the concept of two and three siding Understanding milling thickness, width and ends to size on rectangular and square steel section Ability to operate 1 or 2 machines where safe and practicable or work within a cell operationDays: Monday - Wednesday 06:0015:40 Thursday 06:0015:00 (35 Hrs)Nights: Monday - Wednesday 20:0005.50 Thursday 06:0004:30 (35Hrs)
