Job Description

Management Accountant | East Sheffield | Up to £40,000 McCarthy Adams recruitment are delighted to be working with a highly innovative engineering group, where they are looking to recruit an experienced Management Accountant to join their finance team. Reporting to the Financial Director, this position offers theresponsibility for all the month end reporting and analysis. They are looking for a commercially minded management accountant who is looking to help drive the business through good quality reporting & analysis.Position overview - Management Accountant:

  • Reporting of the monthly management accounts with full commentary and financial reporting
  • Business partnering with senior stakeholders presenting financial information and insight to aid commercial business decisions
  • Budgeting, forecasting and detailed variance analysis
  • Producing weekly KPI reports - Margin analysis, Labour variances, materials analysis, stock analysis
  • Review and implement process improvements, driving efficiency in the month end and reporting process
  • Liaise extensively with site operations staff and other financial partners within the business
  • Produce financial modelling where necessary to help support decision making.
  • Completion of balance sheet reconciliations
Management Accountant Profile:The successful candidate will be a commercial and highly communicative individual with strong Excel skills. You will be a skilled Management Accountant, ideally studying towards a professional qualification or Qualified (CIMA / ACCA ) and will be seeking anopportunity to really add value to a businesses.
