Job Description

Management AccountantRotherham£40,000 - £45,000 + BenefitsChase & Holland are excited to be working with a large manufacturing business based in Rotherham who are looking for a Management Accountant to join their exciting team. The role reports into the Finance Manager and will support the business financial KPIsbased across two manufacturing sites in the area. As the Management Accountant you will be involved in a significant amount of business partnering across the manufacturing operations, supporting the operational teams with spend control, budgeting, varianceanalysis and project management. You will be either Qualified, Part Qualified or Qualified by experience for this role but will need to be comfortable building relationships with key stakeholders, with the ability to question and challenge current ideas andprocesses in a constructive wayManagement Accountant Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the production of management accounts, variance analysis and KPI reporting
  • Development and update of standard costs in the ERP system
  • Finance contact for the Operational Managers to drive efficiencies
  • Support operations with spend analysis and control
  • Assist in producing business cases for capital spend and other investment projects
  • Ensure inventory is correctly stated
  • Assist with the regular forecasting process and the annual budget preparation
  • Work with the commercial teams to provide margin analysis and support pricing decisions
  • Identifying risks and opportunities within the business
  • Suggest and assist in the implementation and management of business improvement projects
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Qualified or part qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA).
  • Driven and ambitious personality with a desire to make positive changes.
  • IT Literateincluding strong excel skills and ERP systems
