Elevation Senior Finance are currently recruiting a qualified Management Accountant for a well-established and successful manufacturing group that operates 10+ facilities in multiple countries around the world. This role will be based at their SheffieldManufacturing facility & will be a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract to cover a period of Maternity Leave to commence in January 2022!Report into the Financial Controller; this is a varied role encompassing both financial and management accounting along with an element of business partnering to help drive performance.Duties and responsibilities will include:- Preparing Monthly Management Accounts- Balance Sheet Reconciliations- Performing variance analysis - Weekly Cashflow Forecasting- Budgeting- Completion of month-end journals- Intercompany Reconciliations- Fixed Asset Register for European Units and monitoring of Local Capex Project costs- Providing support to the Auditors- VAT Returns & EC Sales List- Liaising with auditors at year-end - Providing support for transactional finance elements i.e. AP/ AR/ processing payments etc.The successful Management Accountant will be a qualified CIMA or ACCA accountant, although late stage part qualified accountants will also be considered. A background in manufacturing is highly desirable although not essential and the successful candidate willhave a passion for getting beyond the numbers. They seek a confident communicator, able to deal with stakeholders at all levels and the ability to be able to work in a fast-paced business environment.
