An excellent opportunity to join a leading engineering company in the area.You will be responsible for the supervision of the maintenance team ensuring each section of skilled and semi-skilled personnel achieve all the quality, budgetary, and delivery objectives, whilst continually reviewing methods to reduce costs and improve performance.Interpret plant equipment & plant layout drawings: mechanical & electrical producing documentary evidence of planned maintenance schedule.Carry out scheduled maintenance of plant & equipment in accordance with schedule and legislative requirements ensuring that maintenance data records are accurately and promptly updated.Respond to machine / plant equipment breakdowns, carry out repairs necessary and report cause of breakdown. Maintain records of plant & equipment maintenance schedules in-line with company preventive maintenance procedures.Provide evidence of plant & equipment breakdown occurrences coupled with documented improvement recommendations.Ensure that housekeeping standard is maintained in accordance with Company requirements providing visible evidence of compliance with Company housekeeping standards.Mentor apprentice Maintenance fitter.Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
