Job Description

Blueprint recruitment is looking to speak with seasoned Maintenance Technicians, to work alongside an international Design and Solutions Company on a permanent basis. This exciting role requires presence at the Sheffield site to work on a range of Energyand Industrial projects. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with experienced Engineers, Consultants and Technicians. Our client is looking to strengthen their dynamic team to fulfil the increasing demand for their services in a varietyof sectors, but not limited to, Water, Pharmaceutical, Oil and Gas, Transport, Defence and Chemical.Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and document maintenance, calibration, installation, fault diagnosis and repair of Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic control systems
  • Inspect, repair and maintain all types of LV Electrical plant, Apparatus and control gear
  • Work with a wide variety of instruments including pH, conductivity, ultrasonic, flow, pressure transmitters and proximity sensors
  • Maintain files, logs and drawings for all control, instrumentation and electrical equipment using the Computerised Maintenance Management System
  • Liaise with suppliers and contractors to ensure compliance with company procedures
Key Requirements:
  • Recognised Electrical Control and Instrumentation apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
  • Able to work independently and as part of a dynamic team
  • Previous experience working in Energy/Industrial maintenance is beneficial
  • Detailed knowledge of all aspects of maintenance techniques associated with electrical control systems
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good understanding of and ability to interface with PLC & SCADA/DCS architecture to basic programming level
