REED Engineering & Manufacturing are working with a leading Engineering & Manufacturing CompanyElectrical Maintenance ManagerJob SummaryManaging all aspects of the Electrical Engineering and Electrical Maintenance function, working to support manufacturing activities across the site. To provide dedicated Electrical Engineering support and technical knowledge for engineering and process developmentinitiatives, and the management of capital investment projects. To work within and assist in the development of company policies and procedures including relevant Health and Safety, Operational and QA procedures, Environmental and HR policy and procedures.Main Duties and Responsibilities Create the Safety Vision in line with the Site Strategy for the Electrical Engineering Function and deploy via team members, including audit and reporting. Create and develop plans for process improvement through re-engineering of existing equipment, ensuring they are deployed safely, effectively and efficiently. Define and lead capital expenditure programs from an electrical engineering perspective. Project Sponsor, ROI creation and approval responsibility. Identify and lead Operational performance improvement and reliability projects Drive and develop shared skills and competencies with the team, including monitoring and review. Create a mechanism to ensure that the priorities for the Electrical Engineering and Electrical Maintenance are communicated, including follow up and audit. Perform criticality assessments for the plant and create appropriate response plans for major breakdowns. Communicate and Train the plan to the team, managing adherence. Create and develop performance measures for the function with regular review and management. (KPIs) Create a preventative maintenance Strategy including audit to ensure all activities are delivered in a timely manner across all units. Co-ordinate the detailed analysis of all faults to determine root causes, preventative and corrective actions and to methodically eliminate faults using modern problem solving techniques. Ensure the Electrical maintenance team constantly strives for, and implements, development and improvement work to give increased equipment uptime and efficiency, whilst reducing costs. Continually develop the Electrical maintenance team by identification of skills gaps and weaknesses and implementing training to address these needs. Owner of the following in relation to Electrical Engineering and Maintenanceo Statutory Inspectionso Permit to Worko Legal RequirementsDuty Holder and Competence Levelso Electrical Engineering and Maintenance budgeto Contract Management and Negotiation (working with Procurement)o Continuous Improvement StrategySupervisory Elements Fully accountable for Leading, motivating, coaching and developing individual team members with implementation of a strong succession plan through documented One to Ones, appraisals and personal training and development plans ensuring appropriate matricesare updated.Desirable Requirements: A relevant Electrical Engineering Degree Experience/awareness of Hot Working systems and processesTHErole includes a QUARTERLY BONUS, OF UPT0 10%, PRIVATE HEALTHCARE & PENSION.
