Due to increased demand across their client base, they are now recruiting forMaintenance Engineers (Electrical or Mechanical) at their Sheffield site.WHO ARE FORGED SOLUTIONS GROUPAcross established sites in the UK and in areas renowned for excellence in complex metal working, Forged Solutions Group have been manufacturing shafts, rings, discs, asymmetric forgings and extruded cylinders in a range of titanium, nickel, and steel alloysfor aerospace, energy production, underground mining and off-highway vehicles applications, for over 100 years.ROLE OVERVIEW A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical) to work for a reputable heavy industry manufacturing business in Sheffield.The successful Maintenance Engineer will report into the Maintenance Manager and will be responsible for preventative and reactive maintenance on heavy industry machinery.Working HoursMonday - Friday (12 hour shifts - days and nights)1 x 6 hour day shift on a Sunday (Once every 3 weeks)RESPONSIBILITIES* Ensure all engineering breakdowns are identified and rectified as quickly as possible on machinery such as furnaces, presses and CNC machinery* Ensure all recording systems for work completion are correctly compiled with all relevant information detailed* Always enforce and practice the highest standards of Health & safety adopting company Standards and ensure that all plant and ancillary equipment is maintained to these high standards* Ensure that the detailed procedure of Shift Change / Handover of the department is carried out thoroughly and all relevant paperwork is compiled correctly with the on-coming personnel* Responsible for timely completion of all plant PPM schedules and to provide support for all site wide TPM programs* Ensure good communication avenues are prevalent between the Engineering Teams * Work as part of a multi-functional Mechanical / Electrical on-site TeamSKILLS & EXPERIENCE* Level 3 or above in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering* Previous experience working in a heavy industry environmentCOMPANY BENEFITS* Cycle to Work Scheme * Electric Car Scheme * Discounted Health Scheme Plan (Westfield Health Cash Plan Scheme)* Lifestyle Savings (Discounts across major UK retailers and supermarkets* Well-being (Employee Assistance) * High-five (Employee Recognition Scheme) * Costco Membership * Long Service Recognition 15, 25 and 40 Years* Opportunity to apply for additional unpaid holiday (maximum 40 Hours) per calendar year, to be taken in one block* Enhanced Maternity Leave* Enhanced Paternity Leave* Health Screening* Department Specific PPE Work WearElevation Recruitment Group are handling all applications and would love to hear from you if you meet the required skills, experience and are looking to join a forward-thinking progressive organisation.Please get in touch today with a copy of your latest CV and a member of our team will make contact.
