Elevation has the pleasure of working with a market leader in magnetic & attractive products for retail business based in Sheffield, who are looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Technician with immediate effect! Salary: £25,000- £35,000 dependant on experienceLocation: SheffieldHours: Days - 8am- 4.30pm Monday to Friday A few of the many benefits: *Monthly bonus on KPIs *Pension scheme *25 days holiday plus stats and an extra day for your birthday! *Extra holidays for years of service*Overtime available*Progression opportunities*Monday to Friday workDuties of this position:*Supporting maintenance and production activities*Attending to breakdowns*Actively working on a continual improvement project to ensure yourself and the company are the best it can be!*Dealing with PPMs and fault finding*Working with PLCs on a daily basis*Working within a team environment*Managing the engineering workshop*Putting together and working from 2D CAD drawings Desired experience:*Must have a hands-on approach, with experience of both Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance - but can be bias in either (must have relevant qualification for this i.e. HNC, HND, Level 3 City & Guilds)*Must be able to read engineering drawings *Must ideally have experience of managing a maintenance team/ engineering workshop *CAD Drawing experience would be desirable but not essential *The ideal candidate would have experience within an extrusion (plastic/ metal) background, with experience with cutting and pressing machines but not essential *Must be able to work off own initiative and wanting to progress with the company *Must be flexible with working hours for the needs of the business*Ideally have machining experience (drilling, pressing, fabrication)*Must have 8-10 years experience within a manufacturing/ engineering environment*You must have PLC, PPM, and fault-finding experience to be considered for this roleFor further details please contact Beth Roberts at Elevation on.REFER A FRIEND!
