Job Description

Lifting Tackle Inspection Engineer | Sheffield | Full Time | £30,000 - £40,000 P.AA company established in 1984 has since gained a nationwide reputation for providing lifting equipment of the highest quality to local businesses and manufacturers. They bring together their wealth of experience and expertise in modern engineering with everyjob they undertake and they are now looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Lifting Tackle Inspection Engineer to join their team. They are experts in overhead crane design and overhead crane installations that caters to customers in Sheffield, South Yorkshire and throughout the UK and their services also include maintenance, 24/7 breakdown assistance and more.Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be assigned to conduct inspections of all types of lifting equipment, products, materials, and components to ensure compliance with quality standards. This will be both on site and nationwide, visiting a variety of customers
  • Perform visual inspections, measurements, and tests using various tools and equipment
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate records
  • Ensure the quality of products by conducting inspections, performing tests, and documenting results
  • Identify and report any non-conformities or deviations from specifications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
The successful candidate must have:
  • Previous experience within a lifting equipment environment.
  • Previous experience in a quality inspection and mechanical knowledge.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes.
