Job Description

Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant Location: SheffieldHours: 8:30 am - 3:30pm Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on early years education Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic team at a primaryschool in Sheffield. The role will involve working with students within a Nursery class.Key Responsibilities:As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Individual Support: Offer one-to-one assistance for students who require additional help.
  • Whole Class Support: Providing support for the class under the direction of the class teacher.
  • Behaviour Management: Contribute to maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assessment and Reporting: Assist in the assessment of students progress and contribute to written reports.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the teaching team, parents, and external professionals to support the overall development of students.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Leve 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working as a teaching assistant in a primary school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for education and the well-being of students.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Experience working with non-verbal students with sensory support,
