Here, amongst the latest equipment and facilities available, our consultants and trainers deliver world-class instruction across a multitude of industries.We are now looking for a Level 3 Consultant, Trainer and Examiner to join us on a permanent, full-time basis.The RoleAs a Level 3 Consultant, Trainer and Examiner, you will provide a high standard of consultancy, training, examination and certification services in various non-destructive testing (NDT) and materials evaluation methods.Specifically, you will deliver contracted Level 3 consultancy services to ensure our clients NDT facilities comply with industry standards by undertaking regular on-site audits and through frequent dialogue.Additionally, you will deliver a high-calibre of training to students in NDT evaluation methods, preparing them for examination and/or certification schemes as necessary.You will also:- Document audit findings to produce clear, concise audit reports- Deliver training in multiple certification schemes, such as SNT-TC-1A, EN 4179, NAS 410 or PCN- Invigilate and mark examinations to a consistent level- Build client relationships to enable new revenue streams- Develop and approve NDT procedures, written practices and NDT techniquesAbout YouTo be considered a Level 3 Consultant, Trainer and Examiner, you will need:- Substantial industrial NDT experience, including extensive knowledge of your own subject area- NDT method Level 3 certifications across either ASNT NDT Level III or EN4179/NAS410 (minimum of two NDT Level 3 method certifications)- Proven experience of providing solutions to clients NDT inspection related problems, with the ability to assume full technical responsibility for clients NDT facilities- The ability to work well with students of all ages and backgrounds- The ability to teach complicated physics and mathematical-based NDT concepts and techniques- The ability to plan and deliver coursework, training materials and audit reports- Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills- To be willing to train and upgrade personal certifications to ASNT NDT Level III, EN4179/NAS410 Level 3 or PCN Level 3- Excellent computer skills- Full, valid driving licenceThe Benefits- Salary of circa £50,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications- Car allowance/company car- 26 days holiday per annum plus Bank Holidays and your birthday- Benefits including life assurance and private health cover- Stakeholder pension scheme (up to 10% matched)- Continuous training and career development- A range of wellbeing benefits to encourage a healthy work-life balanceThis is a fantastic opportunity for an engineering professional with extensive training experience to join our multi-million-pound training centre.As you provide excellent consultancy services to our clients and training to our students, we will support you as you exponentially increase your professional capacity, gaining extensive experience and new qualifications.So, if youre passionate about providing state-of-the-art NDT training and consultancy services to current and future engineers alike, we want to hear from you.We regret that we are unable to reply to each applicant, therefore, if you do not hear from us within 28 days of your application for this post you should assume that you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.Other organisations might call this position NDT Consultant, NDT Examiner, NDT Trainer, Engineering Testing Consultant, Test Engineer, NDT Engineer, or NDT Training Consultant.Webrecruit and the Institute of Mechanical Engineers are equal opportunities employers, value diversity and are strongly committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all employees and all applicants for employment.
