Job Description

Ref: 570Hours: 37 ½ hours per week - Mon to Friday 9.00 - 5.30 (Maybe asked to work some weekends at busy periods which will be re-imbursed by time in lieu or additional salary)Our client is a family business that has grown & expanded steadily over the years and are on the look out for a new Lettings Negotiator.Benefits:

The role:
  • Marketing properties ensuring all advertising/listings and portals are up to date.
  • Carry out viewings with perspective tenants.
  • Qualifying prospective tenants
  • Drawing up tenancy agreement/contracts
  • Registering tenancy deposits
  • Check in & check out inspections/inventory.
  • Carry out property inspections.
  • Deal with property maintenance.
  • Ensuring legal compliance/certificates are maintained.
  • Be a part of the project management team for any new development/projects or refurbishments.
  • Liaising with contractors
  • Attending housing fairs/marketing (student sector/universities)
  • Travelling to properties - in Sheffield & other areas.
  • Liaising with contracted agents who manage out of town developments.
The successful candidate:
  • Previous lettings experience is desirable.
  • Competent with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet.
  • Well presented, articulate with excellent communication skills.
  • Hard working "can do" attitude.
  • Able to work to tight deadlines and in a busy environment.
