Elevation Engineering & Manufacturings team have been exclusively retained to manage a recruitment campaign for our prestigious client based Sheffield.The client is a worldwide leader in design and manufacturing for the orthopedic and medical device markets, including joint reconstruction, spine, trauma, sports medicine, extremities and dental. With 14 world-class facilities located around the globe, theycontinue to provide others an opportunity to live a better life through the products, services and the way the company conducts business.Their Sheffield facility based off the Sheffield Parkway comprises a Forge, Foundry and CNC Machining and Finishing processes. It employs approximately 230 people and focuses on joint reconstruction, in particular knee and hip joints and also the instrumentsrequired to fit the medical device parts.They currently have a vacancy available within the Wax Department and although experience in these areas would be an advantage, they are also looking for enthusiastic individuals who are eager to learn and develop a career within this industry.They are looking for individuals with experience or a desire to work in the following role:Junior Team LeaderWorking Hours:Monday to Thursday 7am-4pm / Friday 7am-12noon Monday to Thursday 7.45pm - 6amHourly Rate:£11.94 p/h + 25% shift allowance on night shift (annual salary: £27,246)Overtime: Paid at time andafter 39 hours You will be responsible for:* Supervision of a small team* Ensuring training plans are adhered to, monitored and fed back * Quality control, inclusive of checking the teams work for defects* Working to strict health & safety guidelinesSkills & Experience:* Experience of similar manufacturing environment* Ability to hit targets in a fast paced manufacturing environment* Experience of working within a team leader roleIf you want to discuss the positions in more detail, please contact Nicola Jackson at Elevation Recruitment Group.Elevation Recruitment Groups Engineering division work with a vast range of businesses across Yorkshire and Humberside, Lincolnshire and East Midlands regions.
