Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation TrustDirectorate of Specialised Medicine & Communicable DiseasesJoint Consultant in Infectious Diseases, Tropical Medicine & Acute MedicineApplications are invited for one full time Joint Consultant post in Acute Medicine and Infectious Diseases to commence as soon as possible. This appointment is ideal for physicians accredited in General (Internal) Medicine and Infectious Diseases. This is time tested as we already have multiple joint appointment posts within these two specialties delivering successful patient care and excellent clinical outcomes. The appointee will be expected to take part in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and training. Research is encouraged and full facilities are available to support this.Full GMC registration is required, together with Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) or equivalent. Applicants are required to hold a CCT or equivalent in General (Internal) Medicine and Infectious Diseases, or to be within six months of being eligible for the CCT.
