Job Description

IT Network Analyst - Sheffield - Global businessWithin this role you will be working as part of the wider Networking team, whos focus is to design, implement and maintain the network infrastructure and network security for the business. You will be expected to support and manage the existing firewalls (Cisco, Sophos & WatchGuard) as well as proactively seeking to improve any inefficiencies with the network.Client DetailsIT Network Analyst - Sheffield - Global businessThe client is a global business, who have gone through large growth by acquisition.DescriptionKey responsibilities;

  • Manage and support the full network environment, using predominantly Cisco equipment.
  • Support and manage the existing firewalls (Cisco Sophos and WatchGuard).
  • Wireless infrastructure management.
  • Configure and support Cisco VoIP technologies.
  • Work with 3rd party suppliers and contractors to support the business needs, including installations, escalations and contract renewal/ reviews.
  • Vulnerability management.
  • Pro-actively seek to improve deficiencies in all operational areas.
    • ProfileThe successful candidate will have;
  • CCNA or CCNP certification
  • Experience configuring and maintaining Cisco Routers and Switches.
  • Experience configuring and maintaining Sophos, WatchGuard, Cisco and Fortinet Firewalls.
  • Experience maintaining company wide networks - LAN, WAN, MPLS.
  • Experience with monitoring tools, such as SolarWinds.
  • Experience configuring and managing WiFi infrastructure.
