REED Business Support are working with an award winning global manufacturer who are looking for a International Logistics Administrator to join their international logistics team to further strengthen our international trade operation.Benefits: Salary: £22,000 + quarterly bonus up to 9% Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm Holidays: Competitive package + Bank Holidays Hybrid Working 2 days a weekFurther Benefits include: Company Pension Scheme Westfield health cash plan Staff Discounts Training and Development opportunitiesThe International Logistics Administrator will be responsible for maintaining company records for customs compliance, liaising with forwarders on export quotes and documentation, planning and bookings of exports to our overseas customers and issuing accurateexport documentation.Working closely with other departments in the company, you will ensure that orders dispatch on time and that we receive the required customs paperwork. With a varied and interesting workload, every day will provide you with a different challenge and we arelooking for somebody to take on this role and further develop it as their own.Responsibilities: Liaising with freight forwarders requesting quotations. Follow up with customers and freight forwarders for proofs of delivery and customs entries. Checking export declarations and highlighting discrepancies. Tracking shipments via excel & internal systems to demonstrate control of exports to meet HMRC requirements and other company standards. Working with the Sales and Customer Operations teams to update them on the progress of exports. Working with Finance and processing invoices. Co-ordinating exports with the Warehouse teams. Generating export paperwork, including dangerous goods notes. Arranging exports to customers based in mainland Europe. Providing support to the International Logistics team when needed, including holiday cover for day-to-day exporting requirements.Requirements: Excellent communication skills both spoken and written. Previous experience in a similar role or administration experience within a professional environment. Excellent interpersonal skills with a critical eye for detail. Ability to manage their own workload and work on their own initiative. Proactive, highly motivated and enjoys working as part of a team. Commitment to continuous development, for self and the business.
