Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be partnering with a well-established manufacturing business based in South Yorkshire to recruit a multi-site Financial Controller on an interim basis for approximately 15 months to cover a period of maternity - starting in March 2021.This is a great opportunity to join a successful and well-balanced team, adding value from day one. As the Financial Controller of 3 manufacturing sites in the region, you will provide financial support to the Plant and Operational managers to enable effective decision making and business planning. Responsibilities will include providing timely management accounting information, performance reports, costing, inventory management, budgeting and forecasting and other adhoc work including scenario analysis. You will also take ownership of the daily, weekly and monthly financial reporting processes, review internal audit procedures, complete VAT and statutory returns and manage the external audit.The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant with experience of operating as a Financial Controller in a manufacturing environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships and priorities is important, along with a results driven and continuous improvement mentality.
