Job Description

This is a great opportunity for an Interim Finance Manager based in Sheffield, managing a small team of four. The successful candidate will run the finance team for the organisation and will be accountable for accurate financial reporting and preparationof monthly management accounts for c2-4 months.Key Responsibilities:

  • Monthly financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting
  • Prepare monthly management accounts for two of the business subsidiaries
  • Weekly & annual cashflow forecasts
  • Management of a team of four, overseeing ledgers & balances sheet reconciliation
  • Identify areas where cost-savings and efficiencies to processes could be generated.
  • Provide commentary on deviations from annual budget.
  • To prepare capital budgets revenue
  • To prepare detailed monthly costing and prepare monthly costing reports
  • Reviewing monthly VAT returns
  • Responsible for managing ledgers, ensuring that the operation of all billing and credit control is carried out in a timely and correct manner.
Key Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a Finance Manager role with responsibility for a small team
  • Ideally ACCA or CIMA Qualified Accountant (would also consider QBE)
  • Experience managing a small team
  • Immediately available
