Job Description

Company:A highly successful business in Rotherham are looking for an Finance Business Partner to join their finance team initially on a interim basis for 3/6 months with the view to going permanent. Their mission statement is to constantly improve to be the bestin their field.The Role:Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance this newly created position is an integral part of specific operational divisions providing commercial and financial support to assist with driving the businesses forward and optimising their financial performance.In particular, you will:

  • Business partner the Operational and management teams, analysing and reporting on financial performance
  • Fully understand the contractual obligations, commercial model and performance targets for the operations
  • Understand the key drivers within the business unit to ensure performance is managed throughout
  • Raise risks, issues and opportunities to the Head of Commercial Finance in a timely manner
  • You will assist in a project to strengthen the financial management practices.
  • Production and commentary of monthly management accounts is another key aspect of the role.
The person:
  • ACA, CIMA or ACCA Qualified
  • Ideally the successful individual will have a strong management accounting & analysis background
  • Candidates must be able to use Excel to a high standard
  • A driven, proactive and reliable accountant who is a team player and able to build relationships across the business
  • You will have excellent communication with an ability to deliver to tight deadlines.
  • This role would suit an individual with an inquisitive mindset and an enthusiastic work ethic
On offer:
  • Day Rate £200-300 per day for the successful candidate or contract £45/60k
