Job Description

Instrument Maintenance Technician | Yorkshire |Circa £47,000 | 2-year FTCLangham Recruitment are currently collaborating with a renowned expert in engineering solutions within the oil and gas industry. With the recent acquisition of an aftermarket services contract, our client seeks an Instrument Maintenance Technician to join theirteam on a 2-year fixed-term contract.As an Instrument Maintenance Technician, you will provide assistance with maintenance tasks at gas-operational sites. Your responsibilities will include supporting the team overseeing our clients E&I maintenance and capital projects, which involve high-pressureofftake sites and pressure reduction stations.This position will be based in Yorkshire (North Riding, Bradford, Leeds, East Riding, Pennines), and a company van will be provided to facilitate travel within the region.What We Offer:

  • Annual salary of approximately £47,320.
  • Company-provided work van and fuel card.
  • Covered expenses for CompEx 1-4 (Gas & Vapours) certification.
As an Instrument Maintenance Technician, your duties will also include:
  • Supporting the E&I team in delivering instrument maintenance and providing standby support at operational gas sites.
  • Traveling to and from operational gas sites.
  • Conducting instrument maintenance activities such as re-calibration and verification of instrument systems.
  • Providing written and verbal documentation of job status.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Instrument Engineer who seeks new challenges and industry-specific training and upskilling opportunities.About You:
  • Experience in Instrumentation and Controls at operational gas sites, particularly in instrument maintenance, remedial actions, and detailed ATEX inspections.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain relationships and effective communication channels.
  • Experience in a client-driven industry with a structured problem-solving approach and innovative thinking.
  • Possession of a clean driving license is a must.
