We are looking for an Installation Engineer with an Electrical bias, to join our team and help lift us to new heights. When you’re not off on your travels, you’ll be working at our modernmanufacturing plant, based in the beautiful countryside of the High Peaks.This is a very varied role and you’ll find yourself involved in: · Pre-assembly prior to delivery to site.· On site- installation and testing· Final commissioning and customer hand-over · Completion of all H&S and RAMS documentationThis is just a sample of what you’ll be doing, please also consider applying if you have experience of working on:· Winches, hoists & motors.· Bearings, gearboxes & clutches.· Using PLC’s to fault find.PERSON SPECIFICATION: Installation Engineer, Commissioning Engineer, Service Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Capital Projects Engineer - Electrical, Electrical installation, Engineering, Maintenance, Capital EquipmentYou’ll be a qualified and experienced electrically biased Installation Engineer who is happy working at heights and willing to travel throughout the UK and overseas when required.You’ll be:· An expert with 3 phase motor controls and PLC’s - we use Schneider, but we’ll cross train you if necessary. · Certified 17th edition · An excellent problem solver, able to identify and resolve faults. You may have worked within the oil and gas industry and are used to spending longer stints away from home and you want to reduce that time.We would particularly welcome applications from anyone with an armed forces background.Above all, you’ll be highly motivated, always put the customer first and work well as part of a team.THE COMPANY:Established in the 1940s, we’re a family run business that has enjoyed huge success and expansion, growing to a global brand.
