Elevation Engineering & Manufacturings team have been exclusively retained to manage a recruitment campaign for our prestigious client based Sheffield.The client is a worldwide leader in design and manufacturing for the orthopedic and medical device markets, including joint reconstruction, spine, trauma, sports medicine, extremities and dental. With 14 world-class facilities located around the globe, theycontinue to provide others an opportunity to live a better life through the products, services and the way the company conducts business.Their Sheffield facility based off the Sheffield Parkway comprises a Forge, Foundry and CNC Machining and Finishing processes. It employs approximately 230 people and focuses on joint reconstruction, in particular knee and hip joints and also the instrumentsrequired to fit the medical device parts.They currently have a vacancy available within the Wax Department and although experience in these areas would be an advantage, they are also looking for enthusiastic individuals who are eager to learn and develop a career within this industry.They are looking for individuals with experience or a desire to work in the following role:Wax Injection Moulding Machine OperatorWorking Hours: 37.5 hours per weekShifts: 3 shift rotating Monday to FridayHourly Rate: £10.76 p/h + 17% shift allowance = £12.59 p/hOvertime: Paid at time andafter 37.5 hoursReporting to the Wax Team Leader you will be responsible for:* Running of multiple wax injection machines* Programming and Continuous Improvement of wax injection * Inspection of own work* Daily & weekly shell checks and topping up required consumablesSkills & Experience:* Experience of similar manufacturing environment* Experience of running and programming wax injection machines or similar* Ability to hit targets in a fast paced manufacturing environment* High level of attention to detail with ability follow quality standardsIf you want to discuss the positions in more detail, please contact Nicola Jackson at Elevation Recruitment Group.Elevation Recruitment Groups Engineering division work with a vast range of businesses across Yorkshire and Humberside, Lincolnshire and East Midlands regions.
