Job Description

Multitask are looking for an outstanding HSQE Manager to support and advise the business on all aspects of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental issues.The role involves:

  • Undertaking external site visits on a regular basis in various locations throughout the UK
  • Providing professional support and advice to the business on Occupational Safety, Health, Quality and Environmental matters
  • Assisting colleagues and contractors in respect of compliance with relevant legislation, client standards and contractual arrangements
  • Driving the philosophy of safety ownership throughout all levels of the organisation
  • Promptly alerting line and functional management to significant accidents and incidents
  • Providing support in developing, reviewing and monitoring of the H&S Plan and objectives and targets
  • Identifying areas of risk and developing measures to reduce and control
  • Identifying initiatives to improve performance and assisting in addressing areas of poor performance
  • Reviewing accident and incident H&S reports and investigation
  • Managing any HSQE personnel
  • Managing sub-contractor HSQE applications, completing of Customer PQQs and tenders as required
  • Providing an Assurance and Audit role in the company
  • Producing Q&E performance reports as required
  • Managing the day-to-day delivery of the ISO 9001 quality system relevant to this role
  • The ideal candidate will have:
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
  • Possess or working towards CMIOSH status
  • Valid work permit or right to work in UK
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Demonstrable background in managing Health and Safety in a construction or service-based industry will be an advantage
  • Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills;
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in all relevant IT systems and Microsoft office applications
