This is a technical and managerial position which requires a comprehensiveknowledge of UK EHS laws and regulations.RESPONSIBILITIES* Coaches line leadership and provide professional support in the execution of their EHS responsibilities* Develop, maintain, improve, and implements the EHS policy and procedures with focus on prevention and risk reduction* Takes appropriate action to ensure compliance with applicable legislation, permits, the locations EHS policy and internal FSG standards* Develops EHS campaigns and training to promote awareness and increase compliance* Organizes self-assessments / audits and recommends improvements* Establish and maintain an effective Environmental Compliance process* Coordination of training (internal and external)SKILLS & EXPERIENCE* Bachelors Degree level education, preferably in EHS or closely related field* A proven track record in leading change within a diverse environment* Working knowledge of risk assessment & IOHSH & UK legal requirements* Awareness of the steel manufacturing and forgings industry* Must possess excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiating skillsElevation Recruitment Group are handling all applications and would love to hear from you if you meet the required skills, experience and are looking to join a forward-thinking progressive organisation.Please get in touch today with a copy of your latest CV and a member of our team will make contact.
