Elevation Recruitment Group are exclusively partnered with a Sheffield based manufacturer who are looking for a Quality Engineer to join their operation in Sheffield on an initial FTC to cover maternity leave.Duties and Responsibilities include:* Ensuring the effective use of cross functional teams employing defined problem-solving techniques with the aim of reducing non-conformance throughout the manufacturing process* Responsible for the performing of scheduled internal process audits throughout the organisation. These will, where relevant, include industry and customer specific requirements* The management, preparation and submission of relevant customer specific documentation for concerns/complaints/improvements* The management, preparation and submission of relevant customer specific documentation for FAIRs* The management, preparation and submission of relevant customer specific documentation for the concession process* Documentation control and issue of documents to the correct company process* Know and understand company and department policies and safety proceduresIm keen to speak to individuals with the following skillset:* At least 5 years experience in a quality role in a highly regulated industry* Qualified to HNC level or above in a Manufacturing or Production Engineering discipline* Experience of a range of problem solving techniques - 8D Problem Solving, Fishbone diagram, 5 Whys methodology and process mapping* Experience of a range of manufacturing processes* Effectively liaise with internal and external customers in person, by telephone or in writing* Ability to communicate effectively with other areas of the business
