Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a not-for-profit organisation who are in a period of significant change and growth and have created a new HR position. This role will sit as part of their central corporate functions and will lead and shape the HRoffering to the wider business.Client DetailsIm delighted to be exclusively partnering this large not-for-profit organisation based in Sheffield (who operate a hybrid model, 2-3 days per week on-site required) who have strong morals and values running through the core of their business.DescriptionReporting into the CFO, this newly created HR Manager position will shape and develop a central HR function. This role is initially for a 12 month interim period for an individual to hit the ground running and lay the essential foundations of establishinga professional HR team, but with the potential to be made permanent.The main duties of the role include:

  • To promote and support the vision and direction overall strategy by providing an effective and efficient human resource service
  • Work with Executives and Directors to develop and review the HR strategy, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Lead on TUPE processes
  • Ensuring the successful implementation of our HR strategy and development plan.
  • Support the development and updating HR policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement organisational KPIs and provide monthly HR reporting and analysis to the executive leadership team.
  • Develop HR systems to ensure they are effective including aligning recruitment, onboarding, induction and exit processes.
  • Assume lead responsibility for the development of HR systems and processes e.g. (HRMS) Human Resource Management System
  • Provide the executive leadership team with effective HR support and advice on a range of HR subjects, reactive to immediate situations as well as proactively to emerging events and trends.
ProfileThe ideal candidate will have the following:
  • Available to start this interim role in the next month or so (can wait for the right candidate)
  • Extensive HR background with recent and successful experience of leading staff teams
  • Education or public sector experience
  • Experience of working with Trade Unions
  • Experience of leading and guiding colleagues through multi-employer TUPE process.
  • Experience of terms and condition harmonisation across a multi-site and/or complex operating environment
  • Relevant HR qualification e.g. CIPD and/or significant current experience
Job Offer12 month FTC£49,000 - £52,500 depending on previous experience.
