HR Coordinator£25,000 - £30,000Permanent position working 37.5 hours per week The CompanySteel Cactus Recruitment are excited to be working alongside their client; an established manufacturer in the heart of steel city! A standalone role responsible for the HR function of a growing company; this is a very exciting time to join this client as theywork to become ISO accredited (so experience working with an ISO accredited company is a bonus!) Responsibilities• Facilitating the on boarding process for new starters, managing time and attendance records, and maintaining comprehensive employee files.• Staying informed about relevant laws and benefits, overseeing union-related matters in applicable business units, and conducting inflation evaluations for the next years budget• Assisting in the recruitment and interview processes.• Supporting leadership by actively participating in Key Performance Indicator (KPI) strategy and implementation.• Taking ownership of controlling and managing online requests.• Contributing to the succession planning process, collaborating with leadership to identify and develop potential talent.• Supporting overall office administration, assist in processing employee request forms, and maintaining organized employee files within the HR department.• Taking minutes and delivering disciplinariesThe candidate• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)• Able to work independently and maintain a high-level confidentiality• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
