Littlefish now delivers multilingual Managed IT Servicesto household names around the world.We work together with clients, to co-create the most beneficial solution for organisational needs, rather than trying to mould a standard service offering because thats the easiest thing to do and recognise that best practise absolutely has its place andgreatness can be shared, but one size does not fit all and no two organisations are the same.Overview:Due to great growth, we are now seeking a Level 3 IT Azure Apprentice to join our IT department.Primary responsibilities:

  • Setting up printers, drivers, software, and applications. (Remotely)
  • Supporting and troubleshooting on the use of Windows and Microsoft 365.
  • Learning from the senior IT members how to install and troubleshoot our business applications and be the first line of support to our end users.
  • Install and assist end users with mobile and tablets configuration as per the IT guidelines and procedures of the company.
  • Work under own initiative to carry out departmental tasks.
  • Responsible for updating IT Helpdesk system and documentation.
  • Responsible for updating hardware, software, and licenses inventories.
  • Answering the phone/chat and dealing with end users IT issues and queries
  • Tracking work in progress and recording issues and solutions in our Helpdesk system.
  • Create new guides for users, updating online knowledge-bases and the Internal Support site.
  • Managing the assignment of work to colleagues.
  • Other duties as may be assigned by the line manager.

Desirable experience:
  • Some experience in supporting Microsoft Operating systems, including Desktop Windows 10.
  • Experience in deploying and supporting Microsoft Office Suites as well as some basic Computer hardware troubleshooting and installation experience.
  • Some experience of supporting multiple Microsoft Operating systems, including Desktop Windows O/S 7Windows 10.
  • General understanding of Networking Protocols and TCP/IP fundamentals.
  • Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint awareness and knowledge on how to administer Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange and Office 365.
  • Any ITIL, Microsoft, Cisco and Apple qualifications. [highly beneficial]
Entry requirements:The entry requirements for this Azure Cloud Support Specialist programme are as follows:
  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme.
