Role: Health & Safety Co-ordinatorLocation: SheffieldSalary: Circa £24,000 per annum depending on experienceHours: Mon - Thurs 8:30am - 5:00pm Fri - 8:30am - 4:00pmOur client are a leading manufacturing business.The role:The HSE co-ordinator will report directly into the HSE Manager and will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of the HSE Management Systems, and achievement of recognised certifications.Duties will include:• Supporting Management and Supervision in improving performance & engagement• Assisting in accident and incident investigations• Assist with implementing and maintaining a thorough internal audit program• Liaise with senior managers, employees, contractors, and other external bodies.• Oversee the risk assessment process and safety inspection programme, ensuring all relevantstakeholders are engaged• Supporting the provision and delivery of HSE related training• Creating reports of safety data• Focusing on prevention by keeping up with equipment maintenance and training• Sharing information, suggestions, and observations• Meeting company health and safety goals• Compile waste submissions for Valpak.• Carryout monitoring and measuring exercises.The successful candidate:Will be switched on, comfortable working under their own initiative and managing their own workload.
